Privacy Policy
GreenStack · Last updated June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service for you and your team.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and the workspace details you enter during onboarding.
- Business data you add: customers, contacts, addresses, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, and related records.
- Technical data: log and device information needed for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and secure the service.
- To send transactional messages such as one-time sign-in codes and team invitations. We do not send your data to your own customers on your behalf.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, database, file storage, and email delivery), each bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms. On our public marketing website we also use Google as an analytics and advertising provider — see the Analytics and advertising section below.
Your rights
- Export: download your workspace data at any time from Team settings.
- Deletion: delete your account or your team from settings; this removes the associated data.
- Access and correction: you can view and edit your records directly in the app.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as required for backups, security, and legal compliance, then delete it.
Analytics and advertising
On our public marketing website (not inside your authenticated workspace) we use Google Analytics 4 and the Google tag (gtag.js) — including Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags — to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising.
- These tools set cookies and collect usage and device data such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser type. IP addresses are processed by Google and are not used by us to identify you.
- This data is processed by Google LLC as described in the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings, and block or clear these cookies in your browser.
